Data protection at y15s is not a single checkbox — it runs across encryption standards, access controls, cookie management, account-security settings and a clear process for requesting changes to your personal record.

TLS Encryption in Transit

Every request between your device and our servers travels over TLS 1.2 or higher. This means your login credentials, UPI references and account details cannot be read by anyone intercepting the connection.

Cookie Controls You Own

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your session alive, and optional analytics cookies to improve page performance. You can withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time from the Cookie Preferences panel in your account settings.

Account Security Settings

Two-factor authentication is available on every y15s account and we encourage you to enable it. You can also review active sessions, revoke devices and change your password from the Security tab without contacting support.

Data Retention Schedule

We keep transaction logs for the period required under Indian financial regulations, after which records are purged from live systems. You can ask us at any time for a summary of what we currently hold about you.

Your Right to Correct or Delete

You have the right to correct inaccurate personal data and to request deletion of data we no longer need to hold. Submit either request through the in-account Help Centre or by emailing our privacy team directly.

No Third-Party Data Sales

We share data with payment processors — including UPI gateways, Paytm and PhonePe networks — only to complete your transactions. No personal data is sold, rented or disclosed to marketing companies or data brokers.

We collect your name, email address, phone number and date of birth for identity verification. Once you add a payment method, we store a token reference for UPI, Paytm or PhonePe — never your raw credentials or full account numbers.

Payment data is tokenised at the point of entry and passed to our licensed payment processor. We hold only a masked reference on our side. Full UPI handles and Paytm wallet credentials are never written to our databases.

Yes. Log in, go to Account Settings, then Help Centre, then Data and Privacy, and submit an access request. We will compile and deliver your data record to your registered email address within 14 business days.

Submit a deletion request through the in-account Help Centre or email our privacy team with your account number. We begin processing within 30 days, subject to any data we are legally required to retain under Indian financial regulations.

We share data only with service providers who process your payments — UPI gateways, Paytm and PhonePe networks — and with identity-verification partners where required by law. We do not share data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
